About the Two or More Health & Wellness Ministry.

We are an all-volunteer organization, we give our support to several charities, including: 1) The Walter Payton Center Guild @ the Univeristy Of Illinois, Chicago 2) The American Cancer Society-Evanston Team 3) Cookies for Kid’s Cancer & 4) The American Heart Association

The majority of our members are survivors, care-givers, clergy, and medical professionals. We all have one thing in common; each has been touched by cancer or heart disease.

WHAT WE DO

Our goal is to raise awareness about cancer and heart disease in our respective churches and community’s, raise funds for our chosen charities and to do our part to fight these dreaded diseases that have taken far too many lives.

HOW WE DO WHAT WE DO

We hold Health Fair’s and Blood Drive’s, twice a year, conduct Health and Wellness seminars, hold Fund Raising events, distribute literature, promote healthy eating and living practices to our youth, take part in events such as Red Dress Day and the Great American Smoke Out.

OTHER THINGS WE DO

Provide referrals to community service organizations that can provide rides for Dr. visits, treatments, and pharmacy, make well-being calls and visits, light house cleaning, financial assistance in paying for medication, provide gifts during the Holiday’s, to persons (especially children) who are hospitalized.
